Artistic Directors of the Future was set up in 2014 to create more employment opportunities and to provide support and training for BAME artists. We now have over 350 members from across the UK and have received recognition and support from many organisations nationally and internationally. These include Theatre Royal Stratford East, Bush Theatre, Young Vic Theatre, Thearte in the Mill Bradford, Royal Court Theatre, Regional Theatre Young Directors Scheme, Lyric Hammersmith, Royal Exchange Manchester, Curve Theatre Leicester, Center Stage Theater (Baltimore) and Why Not Theatre (Canada).
To date, we have existed thanks to in-kind support from a group of committed individuals, and we have been humbled by their generosity. However, the time has come to shift up a gear to enable ADF to do more and to have a greater impact on diversifying the theatre sector and to make our organisation more resilient.
We hope you agree that the continued existence and growth of ADF is an immensely exciting and important opportunity, and that you may be willing to consider making a donation or in-kind support to join our list of supporters. And, of course, we will be more than happy to make sure your support is acknowledged on our website. Your contribution would be immensely valuable to us.
