ADF will be hosting a 6-week online interactive workshop for creatives and arts professionals. Providing members with the opportunity to gain deeper insight into the responsibilities of various senior and management positions within arts organisations.
The workshops will be led by up to three organisations interested in meeting mid-career Black, Asian or ethnically diverse professionals to expand beyond their existing network. We are pleased for our first Leadership Lab to be hosted by Leeds Playhouse and Hartshorn-Hook Productions with one more organisation to be confirmed.
Participants will spend the first week getting to know the key senior leaders from up to 3 hosting organisations (including the Artistic Directors and Executive Directors) before engaging in 5 weekly Interactive workshops.
Participants will be mixed up into groups each week and will take on a different senior position. The groups will work together to develop an idea based on a task provided by the organisations. The groups will present a five-minute verbal presentation each week, and each participant will be responsible for developing and presenting a specific area.
Each workshop will focus on a different strand; strategic thinking, artistic development, community projects, production programming and problem-solving.
